Marissa Sorrell is a graduate from the massage therapy program at Ontario College of Health and Technology, before completing her massage therapy program Marissa graduated from Brock with a Bachelor of Arts Kinesiology degree. Marissa recently has just relocated to Barrie from having a thriving massage therapy practice in the Niagara Region.

Marissa is passionate about creating a treatment space to unwind from the daily stresses and take time to focus on your treatment goals to get you moving and feeling your absolute best through providing therapeutic massage treatments. Marissa has taken further courses into prenatal massage as well to ensure pregnant bodies can receive a massage safely through every trimester.

Marissa focuses on deep tissue massage and myofascial release techniques. Marissa is a Level 1 Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist (FST), certified in Cupping Therapy, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Release and Kinesiology taping.

Marissa is a retired high performance athlete competing in wrestling for 12 years, and soccer at a high level most of her life.
